London Gatwick Airport is the second largest airport in London and the second busiest airport in the United Kingdom in terms of passenger traffic. Local Transport


There is a station in the South Terminal. Gatwick Express runs from the station to London Victoria station and it takes 30 minutes for the travel. The airport is also connected to King’s Cross Station by the Thames link and the travel time is 50 minutes.


Buses operate from both the terminals and tickets can be booked and collected in the booking offices in both the terminals. Passengers can travel to Heathrow and Victoria Station in the National Express. The Gatwick Flyer takes passengers from South Terminal to destinations east of London.

Car Rental – Gatwick Airport

Counters of car rental companies are available in both the terminals. Anyone can book a taxi in any one of the companies and can make reservations in advance as well.

Airport Parking

Short-term parking areas are located close to the terminals and are directly connected to the terminals. Long-term parking areas are found at a little distance away from the terminals. Free shuttle services operate between the terminals and the long-term parking area.



There are three airport hotels and a lot of other hotels around the airport. The South Terminal houses the London Gatwick Hilton hotel and North Terminal houses the Le Meridien London Gatwick hotel and the Premier Travel Inn. In both the terminals, hotel reservations can be made at the counters in the Arrivals.

Shops and Restaurants

Shops, cafes, bars and restaurants keep the airport terminals busy. You can find everything for your taste and can shop a wide range of accessories for you and your family. Delivery can be made to your home if requested.


The counters at the airport terminals function 24/7 and the staffs speak several languages.


Hilton Gatwick and Le Meridien offer all facilities to conduct meetings and conferences. The offices are fully equipped with the essential requirements. Public lounges are available for access in both the terminals.

Disabled Facilities

Wheelchair ramps, adapted elevators, restrooms and telephones are available at all the terminals for the disabled. Reserved seating and parking are available for disabled passengers. All sorts of help are offered through the helpline found in the terminals.
