Over 6 million people have planned trips to various destinations for this year’s bank holiday (26th August) and around 1.8 million Britons will fly overseas this weekend.
There are many events lined up in London for this year’s bank holiday and Notting Hill Carnival is one of the most awaited events each year. Notting Hill Carnival is Europe’s biggest street festival and it happens on 25th August and 26th August this year. You can enjoy the Salsa, Soca floats, steel bands and Caribbean menus at this carnival.
The Book Club’s annual Book Stock party is set to happen this weekend with a nautical theme. This outdoor street event features hip hop duo Nextmen, Disco Bloodbath man Ben Pistor and more. The Ciderfest begins from 23rd August to 26th August in the Alma. You can enjoy the fine tastes and alcoholic properties with premium varieties of Ciders and perry.
One of the cutest events every year is the ‘Paw Pageant’. This event raises funds for the Dogs and Cats Home in Battersea. People enjoy the doggy fashion show and it is an ‘Open to the public’ show where the public can enter their pet and have them strut on the ramp.
