David Robert Joseph Beckham fondly called Becks was born to David Edward Alan “Ted” Beckham and Sandra Georgina Beckham on 2 May 1975 in London. Right from his childhood days, Beckham had interest in football and it was his sporting passion. In schooldays, whenever someone asked him of his aim, he said it is football and only football.
He joined training schools and took part in training sessions and played matches under different clubs. The first club that offered him a chance was Tottenham Hotspur.
Football Club Career
Beckham entered football tournaments at the age of 14. It was at his fourteenth birthday, he signed a contract with Manchester United. As a youth he was part of three clubs: Brimsdown Rovers, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United. He was named ‘Player of the Year 1990’ in the under 15 category. After he moved to the senior category, he played for Preston North End, Real Madrid, Los Angeles Galaxy and Milan. He currently plays for Los Angeles Galaxy. When he joined the Los Angeles Galaxy club, he was elected as the captain of the team.

David Beckham entered international football in 1996. He was successfully part of the English team for 3 world cup matches. In 2000, Beckham was made captain of the football team. His goals and play on the ground inspired millions. In 2006, he was taken out from the team. He played some friendly matches against different teams. As a captain, he has given England many winning goals and also accomplished as a good supporter for other players. He was sent off after receiving red and yellow cards in world cup matches. Beckham married Victoria Adams in 1999 after dating her for two years. She was one among the music group Spice Girls and was popularly called Posh Spice. The duo were and still are called ‘Posh and Becks’ by Media and friends. The Beckhams are blessed with three sons: Brooklyn Joseph Beckham, Romeo James Beckham and Cruz David Beckham.
